Create your very own mosaic tile subway stop inspired by the iconic designs found throughout New York City! In this four-week hands-on course, you’ll learn the art of mosaics from start to finish while crafting a personalized work of art that’s uniquely yours.

What You’ll Do:
Over the course of four sessions, you’ll explore the fundamentals of mosaic art—learning how to plan your design, cut and arrange tiles, and bring your ideas to life using a combination of color, texture, and composition. We’ll start with smaller practice projects to get comfortable using the tools and materials, then move on to your main piece: a custom wood mosaic of your very own NYC subway stop.

Whether you want to reimagine your favorite station, swap in your own name, or honor a place that means something special to you, this course gives you the freedom to make it personal.

• A large wood base
• A variety of colorful glass and ceramic tiles
• Professional tile-cutting tools and adhesives
• Grout and finishing materials
