Advanced Volunteer Mechanics: Learn final bike repair skills with guidance from our expert mentors on QA1 & QA2 training.
Note: Past volunteers of Silicon Valley Bicycle Exchange who are familiar enough to work independently and guide others are welcome as walk-ins and do not need to order a ticket on Eventbrite.
Event Details
- Develop your maintenance skills thorough inspection and quality assurance of repaired bicycles.
Who Should Attend:
- Open to more advanced skilled mechancic volunteers wanting to further develop their mechanical skills.
What to Expect:
- Indoor and covered outdoor work stations. Tools and supplies provided.
- Skill Development: Build your confidence and knowledge in bike maintenance.
- Community Connection: Meet fellow biking enthusiasts. Provide bikes to people in need.
- Children under 18 attending for the first time must be accompanied by a parent, and must sign a liability waiver.
What to Bring:
- Signed liability waiver form
- Clothes you can get dirty
- Comfy, closed toe shoes
- No loose jewelry
- Water, snacks
