Social Worker. is hosting our 3rd Annual Self Care Walk—a day dedicated to community, self-care, and the celebration of social work’s impact. This free event invites social workers, students, and community members to unite in a walk that’s more than a stroll; it’s a movement of purpose, connection, and support for those who shape our communities. Join us for an inspiring day of positive energy, camaraderie, and shared commitment to well-being.

Through events like the Self Care Walk, we aim to de-stigmatize social work, inspire the next generation, and uplift those already in the field.   • A Scenic Walk: Take in the beauty of PP as you walk alongside colleagues, friends, and new faces, all united for a meaningful cause.
  • All participants are expected to wear layers, jackets, gloves, and a beanie. The walk is outside, by the water, and during a winter month!
  • Tasty Local Treats: Enjoy delicious food options featuring local flavors—fuel your walk and savor the community spirit.
  • Engaging Activities: From fun, community-building exercises to mindfulness activities, there’s something for everyone.
