Rick Vogel from Arivaca Metal Works has donated to the Community Foundation a custom, one-of-a-kind metal art bell to raffle at our Sip, Swirl, Shop & Support-Holiday Market. Rick enjoys the challenge of finding metal objects that served their purpose and have been retired or discarded having spent their life serving their function. He focuses on imagining what can be created using this old rusty steel, industrial cast outs, and metal throwaways.

A lot of his inspiration is on desert scenes, wildlife, and fauna but some items are just quirky. The bells he makes vary in size and weight and each one has a special pitch and tone. The sound ranges from a deep long-lasting resonance to Zen quality.

Rick is proud to be able to use his art to give back to the community. Thank you for your interest in my sculptures. If you'd like to have a custom made bell by Rick, please contact him.
