Welcome to the 3rd Annual Lambda Golf Outing!

Hosted by the Beta Epsilon Chapter at the University of Detroit Mercy (est. Nov. 14, 1999) and supported by the Lambda Psi Alumni Chapter (founded April 21, 2020; chartered in 2021), this event directly funds year-round philanthropic efforts in Detroit.


The mission of Lambda Theta Phi is to empower the Latin male through scholarship, brotherhood, opportunity, and the protection of identity and equality.

💡 Funds raised will help:

• Increase academic scholarships for UDM students

• Support our undergraduate members with resources and professional development

• Grow our end-of-year holiday initiatives, such as serving the underprivileged and Annual Toy Drive for local elementaries.

• Continue to pioneer golf in Southwest Detroit for Latino students pursuing higher education and career advancement

• Bring community-centered programs to the McNichols campus

Frequently asked questions

Will there be food?

Absolutely! We’ll start you off before T time with some fresh Mexican Pastries from a local bakery in SW Detroit. Around Noon, classic Hot Dog and Chip combination to keep you going. Then, at the end of 18 holes, all you can eat Tacos & Queasadilla Dinner with the full spread.

Is this a male (only) event?

Not at all! This is an event for Everyone!

What time should I get there?

We encourage your time of arrival to be between 7:45-8:15am that way you don’t feel rushed.

What type of golf outing is this?

This will be a Golf Scramble. For anyone that’s unfamiliar with the term, this playing format gives every participant equal opportunity to enjoy the game playing as part of a team.
