About this event

The 3rd Annual Grace Baca Memorial 5K Walk/Run is a heartfelt event created to honor the life and legacy of Grace Baca, a beautiful 10-year-old whose life was tragically cut short in a car accident. This event is especially meaningful for mothers and families who have experienced the unimaginable pain of losing a child to a car crash.

More than just a race, this is a space of remembrance, healing, and connection. Participants will walk or run side by side—grieving mothers, families, friends, and supporters—united in love, strength, and community.

What to Expect:

  • A 5K walk/run suitable for all ages and fitness levels
  • Memorial moments to honor those lost in car accidents
  • Resource tables for grieving families
  • Family-friendly activities, music, and food trucks
  • Special tributes, guest speakers, and opportunities to share stories
  • Proceeds benefit the Grace Baca Foundation, which supports families who have lost loved ones to TBI or are living with its impact. Funds also provide dance scholarships in Grace’s memory—because movement is healing, and Grace danced every chance she could.

Whether you're walking in memory, running in support, or simply showing up with love—your presence matters.
