3rd Annual BRI Trainee Workshop

Exploring effective strategies for taking research beyond the lab

The Annual Bloorview Research Institute (BRI) Trainee Workshop aims to inspire, coach, and connect students dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities.

Join us on Friday, March 9, 2018, for a day of interactive workshops geared towards graduate trainees. The workshops include topics such as "Strategies to enhance research visibility, impact and citations", "How to write a literature review", "Re-imagining PowerPoint", "Commercialization: Journey from Idea to Product" and much more! This event will focus on developing tangible and transferable skills for advancing any trainee's personal and professional goals.

Alongside various professional development opportunities, attendees will have the opportunity to hear influential stories from clients, parents, and scientists, including a keynote presentation from client, Liam, and family leader, Susan Cosgrove, and a panel discussion on "Multidisciplinary research: opportunities & challenges" featuring Holland Bloorview clinicians, scientists, and clinical investigators.
