37th MCAS Iwakuni Sprint Triathlon

Join MCCS Competitive Events for the 37th MCAS Iwakuni Sprint Triathlon on APR 12, 2026.

Registration begins JAN 11 and closes MAR 15 for on base participants.

• This event is open to base personnel and local nationals ages 16 and older.
• The event will feature a 350-meter swim in the IronWorks South Gym indoor pool, followed by a 12-kilometer bike course and a 5-kilometer run conducted throughout MCAS Iwakuni.
• Competitive divisions will be offered for men and women in the following age groups: 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, and 50 and over.

Participation fees:

• Local Nationals: ¥13,500
• Base Personnel: $80** (not including processing fees)
