Guided intervals to structure the session

Participants are encouraged to bring their own secondhand clothing items to repurpose

Basic sewing supplies including needles, thread, fabrics, trims, etc. (BYO any other materials you'd like as well)

About the artist

Canwen Zhao is a multidisciplinary fashion designer with a strong passion for merging art, history, culture, and sustainable design. With over 15 years of experience in painting, she draws inspiration from ancient Chinese philosophy and aesthetics, which give her a unique sense of beauty. Combining nine years of fashion and art training, she possesses a keen perception of current trends and a strong inclination towards integrating art with commercial demands. Zhao's design style is versatile, characterized by multidimensional approaches, a focus on color application, and storytelling through intricate details. She has garnered multiple international awards and nominations for her innovative works.
