The UMBC McNair Scholars Program hosts its 33rd Annual UMBC McNair & Undergraduate Research National Conference!
The Conference includes the opportunity for undergrads to attend our Graduate School Fair, fun network opportunities with fellow scholars, and both oral and poster presentations by undergraduate scholars from across the county.
We ask that Program Staff complete this registration and initiate payment. Students will be provided a link to provide their presentation and graduate school profile information once the registration is received.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Yolanda Valencia, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography & Environmental Systems, University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and Alum from Eastern Washington University (EWU) McNair Scholars Program.
NOTE for Attendees: Only Program Staff should register attendees. We will then send follow-up emails to attendees which will include a form to collect the necessary information. That form (which will also include Abstract & Poster submission) will be due August 1st, 5 pm EST for publication purposes.
Register via Eventbrite – We encourage you to utilize the Eventbrite credit card processing.
Register via Invoice – Due to Eventbrite not providing invoices, we have to contract via another option to complete individual invoices. Therefore, payment via invoice will incur a 10% per ticket administrative & processing fee to be added to the invoice when sent for a payment request. Therefore, we encourage all payments to be via Eventbrite. To pay via invoice:

- Please rename the file using the following nomenclature: YourInstitution-2025-UMBCRegistration
- Send the completed template (from Step 1) via the Support Conference Form, tinyurl.com/UMBCMcNairSupport
- We will send an invoice and UMBC's W9 within 5 business days.
- Registrations by invoice will not be secured until payment is received.

Refund Policy — Registration fees are refundable (less processing charge of 10% for registration fees) if written notice of cancellation is received via e-mail (mcnairs@umbc.ecdu) on or before July 15th. Invoice cancellation for whatever reason will also incur 10% fee.
