Board Training Series – 3 of 5: The Board’s Role in Financial Oversight is designed to help current and potential board members understand their responsibilities in ensuring the financial health and accountability of their organization. In partnership with the Central Texas Community Foundation, this session will be held in-person in the Professional Learning Building 2 at 507 E. University Avenue and will cover key concepts such as reading financial statements, overseeing budgets, managing risk, audits, and supporting sound fiscal decision-making. Whether you're new to financial oversight or looking to sharpen your skills, this training will provide the tools and confidence to fulfill your fiduciary duties. Don’t miss this essential session on safeguarding your nonprofit’s financial future!

This training series includes five in-person sessions. Attendees are welcome to register for individual trainings that fit their interests or commit to the full series. Those who complete all five sessions will receive a certificate of completion and a LinkedIn badge to showcase their achievement.

No! Coffee and breakfast will be available upon your arrival.

Where do I park and how do I find the training room?

Park in the large parking lot on North end of campus, proceed up walkway between the buildings and enter Professional Learning - Building 2 doors. The space will be marked for the meeting.
