🌀 Master the Copa transition – Learn the foundational structure and mechanics behind this essential cross-body pattern.
✨ Add clarity & control to your lead/follow – Discover how proper timing, body positioning, and hand placement make your Copa smooth and stylish.
⚡ Build variation into your flow – We’ll explore at least one or two Copa variations so you can apply what you learn socially with confidence.
🚫 No partner needed – We’ll rotate partners and also train solo elements to help you refine your technique individually.
This session is perfect for advanced beginners & intermediate dancers who want to solidify their core turn patterns, elevate their technique, and add flavor to their social dancing.
About Your Instructor
Tiffany was born and raised in Miami, Florida, where she developed a deep connection to the Latin community. About three and a half years ago, she discovered salsa, and it quickly grew into a lifelong passion.
Her dedication to salsa allowed her to learn and grow rapidly, dancing throughout the DMV and absorbing everything she could about the craft. Tiffany remembers what it was like to be a beginner—navigating the struggles of learning the steps, understanding the music, and building confidence. With everything she has learned, she is now focused on streamlining the process to make salsa more accessible, understandable, and attainable for new dancers.
Tiffany has also developed the unique ability to dance as both a lead and a follow, allowing her to understand both perspectives of the dance. This enables her to teach in a way that resonates with all dancers, no matter which role they choose.
The joy, connection, and sense of community Tiffany found in salsa were unmatched, inspiring her to give back. Now, as an instructor in Baltimore, she is driven to help others experience the same excitement and fulfillment that salsa has brought to her life.
