Join Us for Our 10th Annual Holiday Giveback — December 20, 2025

This year marks a decade of love, service, and community, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude. For the past 10 years, the Terrell and Kaufman County community has embraced the Holiday Giveback with unwavering support, generosity, and heart. Because of you, more than 1,000 families have received hope, resources, and joy during the holiday season. From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.

As we celebrate this 10-year milestone, our goal is to support at least 100 families this year, and we cannot do it alone. We are calling on our community once again for support—including monetary donations—to ensure every family in need feels seen, supported, and loved this holiday season.

We extend a heartfelt dedication to our Founding Members: Byron Mims and Antoine Simmons, whose vision, leadership, and compassion formed the foundation of this Giveback. We also offer special recognition to Judy George, Damaria Jackson, and the many families across our community who have faced unimaginable loss. Their strength and stories continue to inspire the mission of 2nd Chances.Life.

With the support of local leaders, volunteers, churches, and community partners, the event has grown tremendously—and this year will be no different. We’re proud to partner again with TISD, Two Women on a Mission, Jersey Dru's, City of Terrell, BMT Community Center, More With Us, Serenity Corner, and the many volunteers, donors, and leaders who show up year after year with open hearts and outstretched hands.
