About this event

The Event:

On Saturday, April 27 2024 , Please join The Robert A. Pritchard Stroke and Health Initiatives, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization , for our 2nd Annual Fundraising Gala. We will be hosting an
Afro -European Fusion Fashion Show with designs by Dazie's Treasures. The show will celebrate the work of our contributions into the community and help us to raise money to continue our efforts. In addition to the fashion show , you'll be able to network, eat, listen to some good music, shop with our vendors and have a cocktail at our cash bar.

Our Misson:

The Robert A. Pritchard Stroke and Health Initiative raises awareness around stroke and living a healthy lifestyle in at-risk communities. Our goal is to educate those at risk about preventative care and to empower stroke survivors to overcome both physical and financial challenges. While the foundation has made great progress in our efforts, we still have a lot to accomplish. We need your help in supporting us to continue pursuing our mission.

What we are currently working on:

The foundation is raising funds to provide medical care and supplies to Liberia, in West Africa, for patients who are at risk of a stroke or have suffered a stroke. Additionally, funds raise will go towards supporting numerous charities here and Liberia. In addition to financial gifts, the foundation is also accepting supplies which are listed below. In the past 11 years we have partnered up with other foundations to further the awareness of stroke prevention. We have supported and contributed to The Scott Coopersmith Stroke Awareness Foundation in Orlando FL, The Salt Rehabilitation Clinic in Monrovia, Liberia and the MTS Sickle Cell Foundation in Atlanta, Ga and the Brain Injury Peer visitor program.
