Overview

Come join us for a day of empowerment, connection, and resources at the 2nd Annual Peer Support Community Event in Cape Girardeau!

Join us for our 2nd Annual Peer Support Community Event where we come together to support and empower one another. This year's theme is "Be The One You Needed", shining a light on Peer Supports and what they do as well as focusing on the importance of being there for others in the way we needed someone to be there for us.

This event will take place at the 4-H Building (Exhibit Hall) across from the Arena Building, providing a welcoming space for connection and inspiration. We will have Speakers that will share tools on becoming a Peer Support Specialist as well as steps to take to help others in their recovery journey, and what that could look like for you! We have Success Stories that will spark hope and a lived experience panel that will help set you up for success. Don't miss out on this opportunity to receive community resources, get involved in Peer Connection, enjoy a FREE LUNCH, enter for a chance to win one of our Prize Giveaways, and enjoy some outdoor games and face painting! We can't wait to see you there!
