The Carbondale in the ’80s and ’90s Group, SIU Alumni Association, and Hangar 9 are bringing the party back! Join us for the 2nd Annual Night of B.E.E.R. (Balancing Education, Experience, and Reality)—a high-energy evening celebrating Saluki pride, community, and tradition.
Happening on the eve of the SIU Day of Giving, this unforgettable night will feature live music, awesome drink specials, and tasty eats—all inside the newly revamped Hangar 9, now proudly owned by two SIU alumni. There will be raffle giveaways and other games, all in the spirit of giving and supporting students. Come see what’s new, catch up with old friends, and soak up the Carbondale vibes you remember (and the ones you’ve yet to experience).
There will be a $5 cover charge at the door, and proceeds from the event go directly to the BEER Scholarship Fund, supporting SIU students.

BONUS: The first 72 people to arrive the night of the event and make an additional donation will receive a free bagel from Winston's Bagel. The stand will also be on site for purchases!
