2nd Annual Heart Failure Symposium
Overview
The Christ Hospital Health Network has a World Class Heart Failure Treatment Program!
Established 25 years ago, The Christ Hospital developed its Heart Failure Program to meet the growing needs of our communities and is comprised of heart failure/transplant cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional cardiologists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
Did you know The Christ Hospital has the most experienced LVAD Program in the region? Our team has been involved in clinical trials with the HeartMate 3, Evaheart, and BrioVad devices through The Lindner Research Center. We have implanted 438 durable mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices and are currently managing 202 patients on LVAD support.
Our team is also participating in the BIVACOR Total Artificial Heart Trial and have implanted the fourth and tenth patient in the world with this groundbreaking technology. We have performed 54 heart transplants since the program began in 2022 and have excellent outcomes.
REGISTER TODAY to hear speakers from across the region discuss current, evidence-based strategies, and innovative technology & treatments to improve outcomes for heart failure patients.
Our Keynote Speaker is Dr. Nir Uriel from Columbia University, an internationally recognized leader in heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation.
This educational symposium is intended for cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, registered nurses, advanced practice providers, transplant & LVAD coordinators, and PCPs. This symposium is an IN-PERSON ONLY CME event and is designed to equip attendees with the ability to:
