2nd Annual BLK Future Fest + Basketball Combine 2026

This is a one day event with an Afrofuturism theme providing workshops, speakers, and networking opportunities with business, peers, and colleges.

Afrofuturism is a cultural aesthetic, philosophy of science, and history that explores the intersection of the African diaspora culture with science and technology.

Last year BLK Future Fest featured workshops on Hip Hop Pedadogy, Mindfulness for Athletes, Entrepreneurship and AI Tools, African Centered Education, and more. In 2026 we will include even more!

This event is being hosted and facilitated by a group of passionate educators, community leaders, and entrepreneurs. Play Black Wall Street, Triton Consulting, Pow Athletics, and the Institute of Melanated Innovation are the primary partners behind this event. Reach out to be a sponsor or partner.

The location is pending but th event will be hosted in Riverside, California on June 27th 2026.

Families, Educational Programs, Entrepreneurs, and Community members are welcome to join!

The event will officially start promptly at 9:00 am.If your scholar is participating in the Basketball combine you must arrive by 9:30 am for athlete check in.

A Basketball Combine is a series of drills and activities created to develop and showcase skills. This combine is open to student athletes 12 - 18.
