What does a ticket give me?

Each ticket includes a tasting card good for 10 samples of chili or chowder (4 oz each)—plenty to fill you up!

Do children need tickets?

Kids are welcome! They can enjoy their own ticket or share a tasting card with an adult if they’d like to try the chili and chowder.

Where can I park?

Parking is available at the Camano Center, with overflow at Arrowhead Ranch and Utsalady Elementary. A free shuttle, courtesy of Snow Goose Transit, will run between all locations. Handicap accessible parking is available close to the center.

Who does this event benefit?

This event directly benefits the Camano Island Chamber of Commerce. The Chili & Chowder Cook-Off is our only annual fundraiser, and the proceeds allow us to continue supporting local businesses, hosting community events, and investing in projects that strengthen the Stanwood-Camano region.

When should I attend?

Accepted Answer

The event kicks off at 3 PM sharp—doors will not open before then. A line usually forms, so we recommend arriving a little early to secure your spot. The event runs until 6 PM, but keep in mind that chili and chowder often run out quickly!  Outdoor area will be open until 7PM.
