Frequently asked questions

What to bring

At least 10 copies of your transcripts because if you are a 12th grader or college transfer student, you can get accepted on the spot. Some colleges will accept 11th graders on the spot!

Should I bring my ACT and SAT scores

Yes, if you have them, however many schools will accept you without ACT/SAT scores. However, for scholarships most colleges would like to see that you have taken either the ACT or SAT.

Are you giving away scholarships

Yes we have an essay contest to win a scholarship, where you write a 500 word or less essay on "Why is a College Education Important to Me". Deadline to enter is 2-4 weeks before the expo. Colleges also give scholarships away on site, and we also give on the Spot Scholarships with our partners

How many colleges will be there

Over 100 colleges, including over 40 HBCUs (historically black colleges and universities)
