20:30 Bruxsels Talks : Le talk-show du futur

Typiquement, les œuvres de science-fiction ont pris le 21e siècle pour cadre. Pourtant, vingt ans se sont écoulés depuis le début du millénaire et nous n'avons toujours pas de voitures volantes ni de répliques humaines essayant de s'intégrer dans la société.

Mais cela va peut-être bientôt changer. Rejoignez-nous le 23 janvier à 20h30 pour voyager dans le temps, dans un futur proche, dans 10 ans, lorsque Bruxelles aura fait la transition inclusive et durable vers une société qui prend soin de sa population diversifiée tant au niveau écologique que social. Une émission amusante et divertissante, où vous entendrez des personnes du futur partager une tranche de leur vie, parler de leurs espoirs et de leurs craintes en 2030. Il y aura des retours en arrière sur le passé (c'est-à-dire aujourd'hui) au travers d’archives sonores, des actualités de dernière heure, de la musique et des entrevues avec des membres influents de la société de 2030 : le tout pour déclencher une action afin de faire d’un futur plausible une réalité!

"20:30 Bruxsels Talks" est un talk-show scénarisé et produit par BrusselAVenir et BNA-BBOT qui se déroule en 2030, interprété par des acteurs et produit dans un format d'avenir.

Science-fiction speelt zich vaak af in de 21e eeuw. Toch zitten we nu al twintig jaar in dit millennium en we hebben nog steeds geen vliegende auto's of menselijke klonen gezien.

Wie weet verandert dat binnenkort. Kom mee met ons op 23 januari om 20u30 voor een tijdreis naar 2030 in een Brussel dat de transitie naar een inclusieve en duurzame samenleving heeft gemaakt en zowel op ecologisch als op sociaal vlak voor haar diverse bevolking zorgt. In deze bijzondere en grappige show zullen mensen van de toekomst aan het woord komen om iets uit hun leven te delen en om te praten over hun verwachtingen en angsten in 2030. Nostalgische herinneringen aan het verleden (vandaag dus) zullen herbeleefd worden via geluidsarchieven. Verder zult u het laatste nieuws van 2030 horen, live muziek en interviews met invloedrijke leden van de samenleving van 2030. Dit alles om de luisteraars te triggeren om deze mogelijke toekomst waar te maken!

Live from the year 2030, BrusselAVenir and BNA-BBOT presents:

“𝟮𝟬:𝟯𝟬 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘅𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀: 𝗔 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲”

Science fiction works have always typically been set in the 21st Century. Yet it has been twenty years since the start of the millennium and we still do not have flying cars nor human replicants trying to integrate into society.

But perhaps this is soon to change. Join us on the 23rd of January at 20:30 to time travel 10 years into the future to when Brussels has made the inclusive and sustainable transition to a society that takes care of its diverse population on both an ecological and social level. In this fun and entertaining show, you will hear from people of the future sharing about their lives, hopes and fears in the year 2030. There will be reminiscent throwbacks of the past (that is today) through sound archives, contemporary breaking news, live music, and interviews with influential members of 2030’s society, all to trigger action to make this plausible future a reality!

"20:30 Bruxsels Talks" is a scripted talk show produced by BrusselAVenir and BNA-BBOT set in the year 2030, performed by actors and produced in a format of the future.

The show will be broadcast at BX1 in front of a live audience at Beurscafé on the 23rd of January at 20:30.

Who are we?

BrusselAVsenir is a grassroots citizen lab that makes connections between the city, its culture and its future. We believe that images of the future can inspire and shape societies. We start with questions from inhabitants about Brussels and explore how these can be shape our collective future.

Bruxelles nous appartient-Brussel behoort ons toe (BNA-BBOT) is an organization that documents the audio history of the city through sound archives and audio production.Since 1999 we have been collecting stories and testimonials about Brussels. We bring these sound recordings together in a database that is accessible to everyone.

As an answer to our #researchquestion01, ‘‘How will everyone thrive in a climate-proof Brussels in 2030?”, we have spent the past six months gathering content for the show through our very own ‘LabAVenir’ participatory workshops, specialist interviews, and collective imagining of Brussels in the year 2030. Our aim is to inform Brusseleirs on how the transition to a climate-proof future can be both inclusive and beneficial for all members of society. The show will be broadcast in front of a live audience at Beurscafé on the 23rd of January at 20:30.
