Join us for the 2026 Taste of Vail, an elevated celebration of wine, food, and alpine culture in one of the world’s most iconic mountain settings. This year’s festival brings exciting updates and exclusive moments you won’t want to miss—including the debut of our Signature Pass for the ultimate curated experience.

New Signature Event Experience

Taste of Vail’s Signature Pass grants you access to every marquee moment across the four-day celebration, beginning with an exclusive Opening Reception on Wednesday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Held in an intimate, elegant venue, this invitation-only gathering is your opportunity to meet 30 of the country’s finest winemakers, enjoy handcrafted small bites, and kick off the festival in true Vail style.

Festival Highlights

➤ Wednesday, April 1 : Opening Reception, 3-6 pm
Begin your journey with an intimate tasting event, limited to 150 guests. Sip, savor, and connect directly with winemakers and culinary talents in a serene mountain setting that sets the tone for the days ahead.

➤ Thursday, April 2 : Après Tasting & Chef Competition, 3-6 pm
The energy turns up as Vail Village transforms into an open-air tasting experience. Wander the streets of Vail, sampling exceptional wines, seasonal cuisine, and witnessing the excitement of the Chef Competition, where culinary artistry meets mountain spirit.

➤ Friday, April 3 , Mountaintop Rosé Tasting: Debut of Rosé, 12-2:30 pm
New for 2026, our celebrated mountaintop tasting shines a spotlight on Rosé as the featured varietal, with other perfectly paired wines from participating wineries that do not produce Rosé. Ride the gondola to 10,000 feet for panoramic views, crisp mountain air, and elegant pours.

➤ Saturday, April 4 , The Grand Tasting: Two Exclusive Galas
This year, the Grand Tasting is split into two elegant sessions:

• Early Gala: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
• Late Gala: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• We will email you to find out which tasting you would like to go to.

Both offer an opulent tasting experience with premier wineries, chef-driven bites, and the opportunity to indulge in one of the most sophisticated events in the Rockies. Tickets are non refundable.
