2026 Science Events Summit

There's something special about live events. There's the way our energy builds off each other in a give-and-take. The way we do things in unison with people we never met before. The way we both forget ourselves and find our people. The way normal rules are suspended and traditions are made.

There's something special about live event organizers too. It's a certain kind of someone that goes on the event organizing roller coaster and gets back in line to do it again. If that sounds familiar, and you're interested in what happens when science gets thrown in the mix, then you've just found your meeting.

Please join us in Jackson, MS this June. If you are travelling to participate, plan to arrive by Sunday evening, 5/31, and stay through at least the late afternoon of 6/2.

Information about ticket pricing:

The Summit is not a fundraiser. It is a peer-to-peer meeting run at cost. Registration includes meals served during the day, as well as a festive Summit dinner on Monday.

The 2026 Summit will cost roughly $600 per person to produce, including meals served. Thanks to support from grant-funded projects, the price for registration is set at $450. If you can pay this fee, please do. If you find this cost prohibitive, you may choose to enter one of the discount codes below at registration. The full range of registrations is:

• $450 Full registration (No code needed): Discounted from $600 thanks to grant funding
• $350 Early registration (Code: EarlyDisco): First come, first served for those needing a discount
• $225 Small organizations (Code: HalfDisco): Half off for those requiring it in order to attend from small organizations (e.g. non-salaried staff, limited budgets)
• $100 Personal registration (Code: SoloDisco): For use if this is a personal expense that would otherwise create hardship

Please note: The number of discounted registrations is limited in each category. Use the discount that works for you. If you choose a discount lower than you can afford, you are taking that discount away from someone that needs it.

If you are eager to attend the Summit, but are unable due to financial constraints, please contact us to see if special arrangements are possible.

After registration:

• You'll be able to share how we can best accomodate you and what you'd like to experience during the Summit.
• You'll have access to our booking link for the official Summit hotel (Homewood Suites by Hilton Jackson Fondren Medical District). The discounted rate for the first 60 registrants is $169/night.
