2026 Public Workshop-Chinese Elms

Members of the Milwaukee Bonsai Society will be on hand to help with the creation of your first Bonsai ‘masterpiece’! In this class you will will receive a Chinese Elm which is a semi deciduous tree.

The trees will come to you repotted in a bonsai pot and in good bonsai soil. You will learn how to thin out the branches keeping the foliage that will make your tree a beautiful and healthy bonsai.  You will also learn when to water it, how to wire and keep it pruned to shape and care for it in the winter.

Includes tree, pot, wire and membership in the Milwaukee Bonsai Society for the years 2026/2027.
