This popular Palms Workshop is designed for enthusiasts, horticulturists, and landscape professionals seeking a comprehensive understanding of palms.
We will explore the historical and cultural relevance of palms, discuss unique features that define various palm species, as well as focus on the best practices for selecting and maintaining palms in diverse landscapes. This will include identification and management of disorders plaguing palms. We will cover pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stressors, providing valuable insights into maintaining healthy palm populations. Through hands-on demonstrations, participants will also learn how to effectively sample lethal bronzing, a crucial skill for early detection and management.
From urban environments to tropical paradises, we will equip you with the knowledge to make informed choices and ensure the vitality of these majestic plants. Join us for an engaging and informative experience that goes beyond textbooks, offering a blend of lectures and hands-on applications. Cost: $50 per person.
Pre-registration is required along with the non-refundable class registration fee, if any.

If class is cancelled you will receive a notification, and a refund confirmation to the e-mail that is provided during the registration process. Refunds for class cancellations may take up to 30 days to process if registration fee is paid by cash or check.
