2026 Midwinter Convention

The Barbershop Harmony Society believes in enriching lives through singing, with tens of thousands of members across North America. Affiliated men’s, women’s, and mixed singing organizations in more than a dozen countries bring the total number of active singers to more than 80,000 worldwide.Through active programs in music education, publishing, performance, and outreach, the Society preserves and extends the reach of a uniquely American close harmony musical art form whose roots lie in African-American improvisation and European harmony traditions.www.barbershop.org

<a href="http://www.barbershop.org/midwinter" title="http://www.barbershop.org/midwinter" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Event details</a> <h2>Competitor/Participant Registration:</h2><ul><li>Any chorus or quartet member competing or performing at Midwinter must purchase a full convention registration, as per contest rules.</li><li>If members are found to have violated this rule, their group may be subject to disqualification.</li></ul> <h2>ADA Seating:</h2><ul><li>Flexible seating for wheelchairs or guests of ADA attendees is available in the rear of the orchestra section. Venue staff will assist on-site.</li><li>All levels of seating are accessible by elevator</li></ul> <h2>Refund Policy:</h2><ul><li>All convention registrations are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to another person at any time without additional fees.</li><li>To transfer your registration to another person, or to make any updates to our registration information, please follow the instructions on your Eventbrite order confirmation.</li></ul> <h2>Venue/Entry Details:</h2><ul><li>You will need your printed or electronic ticket to be scanned on-site.</li><li>No outside food or drink is allowed inside the venue.</li></ul> <h2>Bringing the kids?:</h2><ul><li>Strollers are permitted in the venue, but unless in ADA seating, you will need to climb stairs to reach your seats.</li><li>There will be no Barbertots room at Midwinter; it is available only at the International convention.</li></ul> <h2>Tentative Event Schedule:</h2>More details to come. <ul><li>Wednesday: Board and other meetings, Rehearsals</li><li>Thursday: Registration opens 9 AM, Keynote, NextGen Jr. Quartet Contest, Evening Show, Afterglow</li><li>Friday: Chorus Festival, Evening Show, Afterglow</li><li>Saturday: Seniors Quartet Championship, Evening Show, Afterglow</li></ul> <h2>Day Passes:</h2><ul><li>Day Passes are not guaranteed, but the decision to make them available will not be made until approximately 30 days before the event.</li><li>Please note that if they do become available, Day Pass registrations are seated in a separate section from individuals with a full week registration.</li></ul> <h2>Hotel Reservations:</h2><ul><li>For booking or to make changes to your reservation, visit barbershop.org/midwinter</li></ul> <h2>Marketplace:</h2><ul><li>The Harmony Marketplace will be located in Pasadena Conference Center</li></ul> <h2>VIP Seating:</h2><ul><li>VIP Premium seats are reserved for Donors giving at the $1,000+ annual level ( President's Council), District Presidents, Society Board, Chapter Presidents, Hall of Fame, AIC, and AISQC Members.</li><li>Seating will be assigned by BHS staff in January 2026.</li></ul> <h2>For further questions or concerns, please contact:</h2><ul><li>E-mail: <a href="mailto:events@barbershop.org" title="mailto:events@barbershop.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">events@barbershop.org</a></li><li>Phone: 800-876-7464 (Customer Service)</li></ul> Media Disclaimer: Attendee understands that publicity photographs, video and/or sound bites may be taken during the event and their image/photographic likeness/voice may appear in media taken during the event.
