Are you thinking about starting to venture into the world of bonsai or you are just starting to learn about bonsai and would like to further your experience and also add a new tree to your collection? This is the class for you.
This is a class for beginners who would a nice tropical tree.
In this class you will choose a ficus that you like. You will learn from one of many members who will be there. You will learn about the care, pruning and designing of your bonsai and how to wire its branches for shape.
Ficus are hardy trees and are ideal for beginner bonsai students.
Later, on July 18th at the club's picnic, you can bring the tree back and learn how to transplant the tree into a bonsai pot and to wire it into the pot correctly. The tree will have its roots cut back and it will be put into new bonsai soil. We ask for the original pot back please.
