2026 Fleet Farming Weekly Swarm Ride!
Overview
Join us Every Saturday at 9am for our 2026 Fleet Farming Swarm Rides, a community-powered day of urban agriculture where volunteers bike from garden to garden to help tour and maintain our network of neighborhood farmlettes. All tools and supplies are provided, and no experience is needed.
Fleet Farming is an award-winning urban agriculture program that transforms underused lawns into productive micro-farms called farmlettes. The goal is to grow fresh, healthy food right in the neighborhood using regenerative practices while reducing emissions through bike-powered farming. All farmlettes are located within a one-mile radius of our headquarters, making the program accessible, community-driven, and rooted in sustainable transportation.
During each Swarm Ride volunteers will:
• Bike together between active farmlettes (all within a one-mile radius)
• Plant, mulch, harvest seasonal crops, observe native plant species, and experience different garden techniques and designs
• Support regenerative growing practices in neighborhood spaces
• Learn how urban agriculture strengthens local food systems
This work matters. Urban farmlettes increase access to fresh, healthy food, and 100% of the produce grown through Fleet Farming is donated to local schools in food desert communities.
Parking is available in the church parking lot and along the surrounding streets.
Be part of a day that grows food, builds community, and brings sustainable agriculture to life.
