2025 WVWC BOBCAT FAIR
Come join more than 350 new students and their families at West Virginia Wesleyan College's 2025 Bobcat Fair! This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your business and the products and services that you provide.
This year, the Bobcat Fair will take place at the Campus Center Plaza, in front of the Benedum Campus center, from 11am to 2pm. Vendors will be placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each business will have one (1) table, one (1) trash can, and two (2) chairs. You will need to bring your own tablecloths and other decorations to highlight your business. You are highlight encoruaged to bring a canopy to combat the sun. If we experience extreme weather an indoor location will be available. Please note on the registration form if you plan to bring a canopy or if you will need electricity.
Merchants are welcome to sell products or services during the Bobcat Fair that might appeal to students and their parents. (i.e., sign up for a bank account, purchase a gift certificate from a local restaurant, etc.) Due to exclusive contracts signed by the College, outside vendors are prohibited from selling food and/or drinks. However, free samples (pizza slices are not allowed, but bite-sized pieces are acceptable) do not conflict with this contract and provide an inviting treat for the students and their families -- so please feel free to share your offerings.
To encourage students to visit the various tables, we are doing bingo cards that will get stamped (provided by us) when the student visits your table. Completed “bingo” cards will then be entered into a drawing for prizes. If you would like to donate a prize(s) for this, please mark it on the registration form and tell us what you will donate. If you’re not able to join us the day of the Bobcat Fair but would like to still donate an item for the prize drawings to highlight your business please let us know and we’d be happy to pick up your donated item.
