2025 West Texas Panhandle Emergency Nurses Association Trauma Symposium

Welcome to the 2025 West Texas Panhandle Emergency Nurses Association Trauma Symposium! Join us for a day filled with informative sessions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities. In partnership with Amarillo College, 8 CEU hours will be provided for Nursing, EMS, and Respiratory Therapists. The event will take place on Friday, October 3rd, 2025 at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex in the Heritage Hall and North Exhibit hall from 08:00 to 17:00. Our speakers include: Dr. John Griswold from UMC Burn Unit, Trauma Surgeon Dr. Brian Scheider from TTUHSC Surgical Services, Lt. S. Chappell Director of APD Gangs unit, Dr. Kendra Thornton DNP, SANE, RN, CNE- Human Trafficking, TTUHSC Regional Dean School of Medicine and Medical Director of LIFESTAR- Dr. Brian Weis, and Retired Deputy Sheriff investigator- Terry Young covering Street Drugs.
