2025 Wave of Light

Wave of Light is a heartfelt global event held annually on October 15th to honor babies lost during pregnancy and infancy. As part of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, families light candles at 7 PM local time, creating a continuous wave of light across the world—a quiet, unified moment of remembrance, healing, and support.

Stephanie Staveland, LCSW will offer a brief education on grief and will share helpful tools for navigating loss. Supplies will be provided to decorate your own candle, with space for sharing and quiet connection for those who wish to participate.

Location will depend on number of registrants due to fire codes and space. If registrants outnumber the office suite we will likely move to the Wasilla Public Library.

Registration must be completed by October 5, 2025.
