2025 VLT Winter Solstice Walk
By Ventura Land Trust
Overview
Join Ventura Land Trust staff in celebrating the shortest day of the year with a guided night walk in Harmon Canyon.
The winter solstice has been celebrated around the world for centuries as the sun's rebirth and the return of the light to the dark days of winter. We will experience wild Harmon Canyon together as we walk the trail with our lanterns lit, reflecting along the way, and ending at a luminous solstice spiral.
Please bring a flameless lantern, handmade or otherwise, and a hot drink to sip. No dogs allowed.
