Established in 1991, the Texas Volunteer Management Conference is the leading educational event for current and emerging volunteer management professionals throughout Texas and the U.S. Throughout its history, the conference has provided an opportunity to learn from top-level speakers, trainers, and leaders who are outstanding in their fields. The conference is made possible through partnerships with the Dallas Association of Directors of Volunteers (DADV), the Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (DOVIA) of Tarrant County, VolunteerNow, and OneStar. With these incredible partnership, we look forward to engaging more organizations in Texas.
This hybrid conference option aims to enhance accessibility and foster engagement among leaders of volunteers who serve nonprofit organizations or publicly funded agencies across the U.S. and globally. The conference also welcomes anyone in the private sector responsible for engaging volunteers including program managers, executive directors, development and communications team members as well as staff in community relations and corporate social responsibility.
We understand that nonprofit budgets are often tight and professional development can be costly. That’s why we’ve made this full conference—featuring two full days of exceptional programming—available at unprecedentedly low prices. Additionally, we’re proud to offer scholarships to ensure even greater accessibility. Attendees receive the same high-quality programming at just a fraction of the usual cost.
Thanks to our sponsor, the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration (CCVA), this conference can be applied toward the professional development hours required for both initial CVA certification and CVA renewal. The CVA is the only internationally recognized credential in the field of volunteer administration. If you need proof of your participation for professional development, please contact the event organizers directly, as CCVA does not maintain attendance records for events it has not organized.
