About this event

  • Event lasts 1 day 2 hours

Through the 2025 Yale Symposium on Music in Schools, local music teachers, adminsitrators, and national advocates will share experiences and ideas as we reflect on our commitment to New Haven’s music ecosystem and the students it serves.

Our theme for this year is Activate and Advocate: Embracing the Music Ecosystem in Your School and Community. This two-day event will feature musicians and speakers from along the East Coast. Performances and workshops will create space for conversation and collaboration around music education in our New Haven community and beyond. Meals will be provided, along with opportunities for networking and socializing.

The Symposium in Music in Schools is made possible with an endowment created by the Yale College Class of 1957.
