Welcome to our Second Annual Sensory Fair!! Drop in any time between 10am to noon. We will have multiple stations set up, each to learn about a different sense. From finger painting to tastings from our community garden, we aim to get your little one more ready for preschool/kindergarten. This event is designed for ages infant to 5 yrs. Siblings are welcomed to join. Light refreshments will be provided.
Sensory Fair Highlights
- Interactive Literacy Stations: Tactile books, braille samples, large-print storybooks, and multi-sensory activities.
- Story Experience Corner: Volunteers reading aloud with sound effects, music, movement, and sensory props to bring books to life.
- Volunteer Sign‑ups: Join our partnerships with the larger community as a reader for struggling new readers.
- Take‑Home Materials: Free beginner readers, tip sheets for supporting early literacy at home, and information about local literacy programs.
