What we love, we become, and what we become, we discover to be the deepest truth of our own being.

Two thousand years ago, Mary Magdalene saw the deepest truths of her own being reflected in her beloved companion Yeshua. She devoted herself that truth, realized and embodied it, and traveled across oceans to infuse the world with the light of her realization. For the first three hundred years of Christian history she was recognized as the "Apostle to the Apostles," the companion and lineage bearer of Yeshua, or Jesus.

By oral tradition, Mary fled the crucifixion to Egypt. She was cast out of Alexandria with seven other myrrhbearing women and one man, St. Lazarus, in a boat with no sails or oars. They came ashore in Provence, where she spent the last twenty years of her life in a high mountain cave, communing with her Divine Beloved. Her relics were found there in simple tomb, confirmed by DNA testing to be the bones of a middle-eastern woman in her 50's, who lived two thousand years ago.

Our world cries out for a new way of being human that is deeply embodied, integrative, and profoundly relational, reconnecting us with ourselves, each other, our world, and the Divine Beloved within our own hearts. A way of being human that balances the divine masculine and the divine feminine, and honors the sacredness of all life. Mary Magdalene can show us how.

On this six-day journey through Provence we will follow the ancient pilgrimage trail that traced the footsteps of Mary Magdalene from the shore where her boat landed in the picturesque seaside village of Saintes Maries de la Mer, to the streets of Marseilles where she lived and taught, to the sacred grotto where she spent her life in ecstatic union with her Divine Beloved, and finally to her crypt in Saint Maximin. We will visit the tomb of her sister Martha; the relics of Mary of Jacob, Mary Salome, and Sara la Noire, part of the community of myrrhbearing women that supported Mary, and the churches where traditions say St. Lazarus spent his last years.

Mary Magdalene's presence permeates these places in a profound and deeply impactful way. As you marvel at the stories of Mary's life and immerse yourself in the wisdom teachings she embodied, you may begin, as I have, to experience her as a gentle and fiercely loving companion, guide, and wisdom teacher, helping you to reclaim your own wholeness, re-integrate your fragmented psyche, reconnect every part of you to the deepest truth of your own being, open the eyes of your heart and draw you into the most tender and loving intimacy with the Divine Beloved who dwells in your own heart.

We will travel together on a comfortable private bus and stay in four-star hotels conveniently located to our destinations. Our trip will be guided by Veronique Flayol and Hunter Flournoy, lifelong devotees and students of Mary Magdalene. They will lead you through simple ceremonies drawn from her traditions and share stories of her life, her veneration in Provence, and teachings drawn from the apocryphal gospels and oral traditions to help you connect to her personally and apply her wisdom in your own life. You will also recieve a carefully curated selection of texts and contemplative practices to work with as you prepare for our journey together.

This is far more that a tour -- it is a pilgrimage, created specifically to help us reclaim the wisdom, power, and love of a true spiritual master -- in a time when the world needs her most!
