2025 Rutgers Governmental Accounting and Auditing Update Virtual Conference
Overview
Participants will learn about current state fiscal matters from NJ's senior government financial leaders from the offices of the NJ State Treasurer, NJ Division of Local Government Services, NJ Dept. of Education, Governmental Accounting Standards Board, Rutgers faculty, and notable professionals from governmental accounting, auditing, and other financial management areas. Participants will also get an update on auditing, accounting, and financial management issues, including the latest GASB pronouncements and governmental auditing issues. Presentations by notable speakers from the fields of government accounting, auditing, and other financial management areas are featured.
Prerequisites and preparation are not required.
The Conference will be held Virtually this year.
Instructions on how to join the conference will be mailed to the participants the day before the conference.
LOCATION: Virtual with ZOOM hosted by Rutgers Business School
The Zoom link will be emailed from an Eventbrite email address the day before the conference.

CPE Information:
The conference offers 8 CPE credit hours for CPAs and RMAs, and a request has been approved by the Division of Local Government Services for 8 CPEs for Municipal and County Finance Officers.
To verify your attendance to determine CPEs, polling questions will be published during this event. You must respond to them in order to be eligible for CPEs.
8 NASBA CPE credits will be offered for this one-day program. The program knowledge level is “Update” which provides a general review of new developments requiring no advanced preparation.
Rutgers Business School is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuous professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
