Boswell Book Company once again presents a customer favorite event – an afternoon with Jason Gobble, Sales Rep for the Knopf-Doubleday Group of Penguin Random House Publishing throughout the Upper Midwest, who joins us to present a selection of his favorite books for fall and the upcoming holiday season.
Boswell regulars will now and then hear one of the Boswellians mention bookseller rep nights, which are a series of programs in which sales reps present new books to booksellers with the hope that they become in-store hand-sell recommendations. It’s a program that, locally, has been going on for over 35 years, first at Harry W Schwartz Bookshops and now continuing at joint sessions sponsored by Boswell and Oconomowoc’s Books & Company. Many of our regular customers have asked us if they can join these events, which are typically open bookseller-only soirees. Now, though, we are glad to host Jason Gobble for this special, open to the public afternoon, and extend an invitation to learn about lots of great new books to you.
