Join PES STUDIOS on Sunday, October 12, from 1–5 PM at 800 Broad Street in Newark for our Annual Fall Open Studios. Guests are invited to explore four floors of artist studios, community workshop spaces, and exhibitions while connecting with our creative community over brunch and breakfast cocktails.
This year’s program also highlights two special exhibitions at our Newark galleries: Fine Line by Jake Troyli at 800 Broad Street, and La Voz del Anonimato (The Voice of Anonymity) by Layqa Nuna Yawar at Ironside Newark. Visitors can also experience nearly 75 public artworks along the Newark Grounds cultural corridor, adding to the celebration of art across the city.
PES STUDIOS, part of Project for Empty Space, is a nonprofit arts initiative dedicated to creating safe and equitable spaces for social dialogue. We support socially engaged artists by amplifying narratives that are often erased, while also holding space for reflection and imagining new futures.
The Annual Fall Open Studios is presented in conjunction with the 24th Annual Newark Arts Festival and citywide arts happenings throughout Newark.
