Overview
An Evening of Celebration, Conversation, and Community
Welcome to the 2025 Osceola Macarthy Adams Awards (OMAs)!
Join us as we honor the voices that shape our culture and inspire our future. This informal awards gathering is more than a ceremony — it's a love letter from the artists' community to the trailblazers, keepers of the flame, and rising stars of Black Art and Artistry.
This year, we celebrate:
- Shaila Scott – Legendary radio personality and cultural curator
- Jacque Reid – Acclaimed journalist and host amplifying Black stories
- Davis Matthews – Broadway standout who brought Simba to life in The Lion King
Through joyful tributes and an intimate fireside chat, we'll reflect on their journeys, their impact, and the creative legacy they continue to build. It's a night of connection, celebration, and collective pride — where artists and community come together to uplift excellence.
