A day of art, family focused workshops and open studios.

ArtsWestchester hosts a day of free art, workshops and open studios on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 12-5PM.

Gallery Exhibition | 12-5pm
Explore ArtsWestchester’s current exhibition, Meltdown: A Changing Climate, in which artists imagine the potential impacts of climate change on the Hudson Valley.

Second Saturdays | Family Workshops | 12-2pm

Learn, play and grow with us! Free hands-on art workshops will help children ages 5 to 12 to explore and engage with themes from the gallery’s current exhibition. This month’s workshops include printmaking, paper arts and storytelling. SPACE IS LIMITED REGISTER TODAY.

Open Studios | 2-5pm

ArtsWestchester’s historic nine-story building is home to professional artists, including painters, sculptors, a ballet company, and more. In this open house event, offers guests a unique opportunity to discover works by these local artists and learn about their creative process.can visit the open studios of artists and creatives throughout the building. Visitors can cross names off their holiday shopping lists as they discover unique handmade gifts.

The following artist studios will be open between 2-5pm:

Photography

Photography, as well as video and/or audio recordings, will be taken during this event to promote Open Studios and other creative education programs. Images will not be sold or used for commercial purposes. If you, your family, or those under your legal guardianship prefer not to be recorded, please notify the photographer directly and request a bracelet upon entry. Having the bracelet will help staff easily recognize your preference.
