About the Conference

The Minnesota Prevention Program Sharing Conference is entering its 51st year of supporting people engaged in substance misuse prevention. Countless communities, agencies, and individuals come together to do this work, including you. Our annual conference provides an opportunity for everyone who is engaging in this work everyday to come together, share ideas, and learn from one another. We are looking forward to seeing you this October 14-15 in Duluth!

ALL ticket types include recorded access, so please only register for the "Recorded Access Only" ticket type if you will not be attending in person. Recorded-access only participants are not eligible for CEUs.

Register to be an Exhibitor

We offer exhibitor space for coalitions and organizations with allied or complementary missions. We can also accept exhibitors who wish to share information on local activities or services that may be of interest to conference attendees. We do not allow sales of products or services at the conference. Exhibitors for the conference will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until September 1, 2025.

NEW this year, we have also added sponsorship opportunities! Sponsorship of the conference allows your organization greater visibility to attendees and encourages the conference audience to engage with you. In considering your goals and budget for the conference, we encourage you to select the options that are a fit for your organization. If you have other ideas, questions, or would like to customize your sponsorship experience, please reach out to moe@ansrmn.org.

Register to exhibit, or learn more about exhibiting and sponsorship at mnprc.org/exhibitors.

Youth at the Conference

We are excited to offer opportunities for youth to participate and engage with this year’s conference. Groups of students can register for the conference using the “Student Registration” ticket type. The recommended age range for student conference attendees is 10th grade and above, and a group size of 5-7 seems to work best for groups. Students enrolled in higher education are also welcome and encouraged to attend.

We ask for photo release forms from conference attendees. Student attendees under the age of 18 will need to have a paper copy of the photo release form signed by their parents/guardians. Copies of the photo release form will be emailed to adult chaperones who register students for the conference upon registration, and should be returned prior to the conference. Any students who don’t complete the form, or who do not consent to have their photo taken, will have a sticker added to their name tag indicating they should not be photographed at the conference.

MN Prevention Program Sharing is a professional conference, and youth and students are some of the most important partners in our work. We have been honored to learn with and from them over the years at Program Sharing. We also want to set student attendees up for success to participate and engage in this professional conference in a way that is accessible to them! Upon registration, students will be asked to complete a brief form to set personal goals and expectations for the conference.

Continuing Education

We will be offering continuing education for this year's conference through CHES, MN Certification Board, and MN Board of Social Work. If you are interested in receiving continuing education through these boards, please indicate that when you register.

The Minnesota Prevention Resource Center’s mission is to reduce problems resulting from alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs by enhancing the capacity of people interested in preventing these problems. We are a project of Association for Nonsmokers-Minnesota and funded by the the MN Department of Human Services Behavioral Health Administration.

MPRC has provided services to the residents of Minnesota for over 30 years through the development of community campaigns, providing resources, facilitating trainings and events throughout the state, providing research assistance and library materials, and supporting people who work to promote public health and prevent the problems caused by substance misuse. This includes tobacco and drug use, underage alcohol use and the misuse of alcohol by adults.
