2025 Mattress Recycling Drop-off Event

Thornton invites residents to drop off mattresses and box springs to Thornton's Infrastructure Maintenance Center, Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. for a recycling event.

There is a limit of 4 pieces per household.

This is a limited event and is first come first served. If the event appointments are sold out online, you will not be allowed entry into the event.

Event registration is MANDATORY.

Thornton residents only. Proof of residency will be required.

Residents are responsible for unloading mattresses or box springs from their vehicle.

Acceptable items include mattresses and box springs of any size.

NOT ACCEPTED: Wet items, bed bug infested items, car beds, mattress toppers, sleeping bags, furniture, water beds, trash, bed frames.

Restrictions and limitations apply.

*This event will only take place weather permitting. If there is rain in the forecast the event will be cancelled. Please visit ThorntonCO.gov/trashrecycling for updates as the event date gets closer.
