About this event

After a hiatus, we’re looking forward to bringing back this event for institutional food buyers, chefs, foodservice and nutrition services professionals; regional farmers, ranchers, fishers, and value-added food businesses; distributors; and community food system organizations to connect.

Local Link brings together a growing network committed to building thriving local economies, vibrant urban and rural communities, and equitable access to good food.

Cost

Vendors (register by October 27):

  • Farmer, Rancher, Fisher: $55
  • Value-added food business: $55
  • Distributor: $110

Buyers and other non-exhibiting attendees (register by November 10):

  • Non-exhibiting food business: $15
  • Buyers, early childhood or school staff, other institutional staff: $15
  • Community partner: $15


Accessibility + Notes

Water: Please bring a reusable water bottle and avoid single-use plastic containers.

Food: Many vendors will offer samples of their products. Please check with each vendor for allergens as needed.

Bathroom: There are multiple gender-neutral bathrooms. There are also multiple sinks for hand washing.

Sensory Environment: There may be multiple conversations and/or background noise happening at once.

Interaction level: Medium-High. Vendors will staff a table to share about their product/s. Many will offer samples and information about their business and product/s. Institutional food buyers, community food systems partners, and other guests are invited to meet and interact with vendors at their tables. Vendors may have questions for buyers and partners who approach their tables about working with insitutions.

Language: The primary language of this event is English. If you need interpretation, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Health & Wellness: This event is indoors. To help keep each other safe, we are currently planning for the following standards:

  • Masks will be available at the check-in table for those that want them.
  • There are large roll-up doors that will allow for air flow in the space.
  • There will be hand sanitizer and access to sinks for hand washing.

Animals: No animals are permitted on site except qualified service animals under the ADA. Service animals must be kept on leash and under control. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted on site. If there are questions or concerns, please contact locallink@ecotrust.org
