2025 KIZ Resources + Update Session📍The Innovation Lab at Marquette

This session will provide key updates on the Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ) program in Erie, PA, with a focus on current eligibility, qualification criteria, and revised reporting requirements. Representatives from Radius and KIZ Resources will offer insights into how early-stage, for-profit companies—particularly those in the tech and manufacturing sectors—can leverage KIZ tax credits to support growth and scalability. Attendees will receive a briefing on the updated KIZ map, as well as recent changes that may affect program participation.
Included, will also be an overview of the City Revitalization and Improvement Zone (CRIZ). This portion will cover the geography of CRIZ parcels in Erie and the associated reporting requirements that small businesses should be aware of. The session will close with information on Erie County Redevelopment Authority's resources and available low-interest financing options including Enterprise Zone loans.
Additional information will be available about R&D, film, video game, REAP, and historic tax credits.
The session is designed for companies currently participating in the KIZ program, Ben Franklin Technology Partners portfolio startups, early-stage businesses in manufacturing and technology, accountants advising KIZ-eligible groups, and economic development professionals supporting innovation-driven enterprise in the region.
Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be available. Following the session, attendees are invited to continue the conversation informally at 5 Iron Golf with speakers and fellow guests.
