📌 About the Event:
This is not simply a cooking class—it is a cultural experience designed for adoptees.
Through making kimchi, sharing a traditional meal, and connecting through stories, participants can rediscover their heritage in a supportive, communal setting.
🕚 Program Schedule:
- Welcome & Storytelling (15 min) – The meaning of kimjang and family memories
- Kimchi-Making (90 min) – Baechu Geotjeori (fresh napa kimchi), Oi Sobagi (stuffed cucumber kimchi), Pa Kimchi (scallion kimchi). Children can join in simple steps.
- Shared Meal (60 min) – Bossam (boiled pork wraps) with vegan tofu option, rice, and fresh kimchi
- Closing & Reflection (15 min) – Group sharing, photo, take-home kimchi (3 containers), and bilingual recipe card
