Are scholarships available?

Yes, full and partial scholarships are available. Please reach out to Kari White at kariw@nchcvt.org with a request.

Do I have to attend all sessions?

To get the most out of the workshop and the small group format with peers, attendance at all four sessions is highly encouraged. Please consider your ability to commit fully before registering.

Do I have to have my camera on?

Choice and autonomy is a key concept of UDL and inclusion, so while it is encouraged, it is not required if you are uncomfortable or would prefer to keep it off.

Not exactly. You will get out of this workshop what you put in , so the "homework" is really about your preparation to engage as fully as possible and what that means for you (a cup of herbal tea, paper and a glitter pen, headphones, no e-mail notifications).

What happens after I register?

You will get a verification of registration via e-mail. You will also receive the Zoom links to the four workshops and a prep packet.

What if I need support or accommodations to participate?

We try to practice what we preach and use accessibility practices (i.e., captions, visual descriptions, multiple formats) and we want to hear from you in advance if you have questions or support requests to help you participate to your fullest. Please e-mail Kari at kariw@nchcvt.org.
