2025 Haunted Heart Run

The fourth annual Haunted Heart 5k with the CVTG will take place through UVa Grounds beginning and ending at the courtyard between MR4 and MR5 (409 and 415 Lane Road Charlottesville, VA 22908). All proceeds from the event will go to support the American Heart Association, a major contributor and supporter of basic cardiovascular research.
The event will have a Halloween theme and costumes are appreciated. An award will be given for best costume at the event. Support for the event comes from the UVa Cardiovascular Research Training Grant which supports predoctoral and postdoctoral students in performing and training for basic cardiovascular research.T-shirts are included in the price of the race. Registration will go until 10/24/25 online.
The race will start at 9am sharp so be sure to arrive early to grab your bib. UVA parking and transportation will have the gates lifted at the South Garage located at 380 Crispell Dr, Charlottesville, Virginia (location circled on map attached) for everyone to park. We will attached a map of the 5k course as the date gets closer. Roads will not be closed so we would like to emphasize safety procedures of sticking to the sidewalk and being aware of vehicles and pedestrians. Race volunteers will be situated at large road crossings to aid in keeping everyone safe.
