You’re Invited!

The DePaul University Master's in Professional Communication graduate program invites you to celebrate with our rising communication leaders as they present their final projects.

During the lively one-hour program, grad students will present snapshots of their real-world projects, which use communication to help solve organizational challenges. For hiring managers and recruiters, this is an opportunity to engage with rising talent. For friends, family and faculty, this is an opportunity to cheer on the graduating cohort. There will be lots of time for questions.

About Our Keynote Speaker: Kathryn Beiser

Kathryn Beiser is a communications leader with deep experience across a broad range of global industries including health care, consumer goods, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, professional services and hospitality.

Most recently, Beiser served five years as SVP and Chief Communications Officer of Eli Lilly and Company. Prior to Lilly, Beiser was SVP and CCO for Kaiser Permanente, Global Chair of the corporate practice for Edelman, EVP of Corporate Communications for Hilton Worldwide, and Head of Corporate Communications for Discover Financial Services. Beiser also had stints at Burson, APCO, Golin and Hill & Knowlton.

Recent honors include #5 on the 2024 PR Week Power List, 2024 David Finn Award, 2023 Ragan Women in Communications Hall of Fame and 2022 PR Week Women of Distinction. She has contributed to several books on the topic of communications, including Mastering Business for Strategic Communicators by Matt Ragas and Ron Culp.

Beiser graduated from Northwestern University, receiving both a master’s degree in journalism and a bachelor's degree in political science. She is a member of the Page Society and The Seminar, as well as serves on the board of the Indiana Repertory Theatre.
