Do I need to live in California to participate?

While we are primarily serving the California community with this game jam, if the majority of your game jam team is currently living in California, we will allow a handful of out of state participants. Please note, any prizes or participation prizes we have can only be shipped to CA addresses.

Do I need to be a member of one of the four participating IGDA chapters to participate?

No, but we highly encourage you to join your local chapter! If you can’t afford a membership, ask about the application for a fee waiver! We do, however, ask that you select a chapter to represent in this jam! If you’re not from any of the participating cities, choose your favorite!

What is the parking situation?

There is street parking nearby, as well as a paid parking lot attached to the campus.

Is food and beverage provided?

Yes, food and beverage is provided with the cost of your ticket. We will have dinner on Friday night, as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday. We will have some snacks available, but feel free to bring your favorite power-ups!
